This wonderful vase is so hard to capture on camera. The delicate speckle glaze is a brilliant dark blue and the body is purple. The Shelf concept vases were made in Halifax in the 1970s and are also known as 'Shelf Pottery' including stoneware, decorative, and kitchenware, founded by Graham Alcock who also designed the pieces. Most are one-offs and this is the most 70's vase I have ever come across Height- 19.5cm Width - 13cm All vintage items may show signs of wear having been pre-loved or even pre-neglected, all flaws will be photographed and/or mentioned in the description.
