Art Deco Bakelite drawer handles, 1930s

This is a set of 6 fabulous Art Deco 1930s Bakelite handles. They are a coral, dark orange, colour with a chrome plated disc back plate. They have a distinctive Art Deco styling to them and are unlike any modern/contemporary handles. We have tested the handles with Simichrome metal polish and they do show a positive reaction as Bakelite. The chrome back plates show signs of wear as you can see from the pictures. Obviously the handles can be used without the disc plates should you prefer. There is a chip on one of the handles and some very minor fleabites on a couple of others. These handles are wonderful examples of 1930s style and would grace a vintage piece of furniture, or give a twist to a more contemporary modern piece.
