This Splatter design Art Glass Vase is speckled with metallic copper flecks, very similar to the Murano Aventurine Style. It also bears a similarity to art glass produced in Mdina, Malta. There are no markings anywhere, so we are uncertain of the origin of the piece. The copper glistens beautifully and works well with the taupe and white colour scheme - which is very mid century. The vase has a white cased interior layer. The bottom has a smooth, polished pontil. We are unsure of the date of this, but we think it's likely 1950s-1980s. A really lovely example.
