This is a beautiful hand carved hardwood table sold in the arts and crafts period by Liberty London. These side tables / plant stands were made in Japan (circa 1905), then disassembled for easy transportation and reassembled when they reached their destination. The table has been gently cleaned, embellished with subtle touches of gold, then waxed and polished. As with all my antique and vintage pieces this has evidence of its previous life adding to its unique character and charm.
