We love this vintage mid century, 1950s set of drawer knobs with their beautiful filigree design by Elliotts of Newbury (used on their Petit Point range). They will certainly add a touch of vintage flair and style to any piece of furniture. The 2 largest have lovely embroidered centres and the remaining 8 have the same filigree design, but without the embroidered centres. The embroidered handles have 'PAT APP FOR REG.D DESIGN 876762' stamped on the reverse. We believe relates to its Registered Design. Having done some research in the National Archives, the license for this particular design no dates to 1955. They have the normal signs of age related wear and tear you would expect from handles of this era. There is some minor darkening of the fabric on one of the knobs.Please check out all the photos in detail.
