Vintage Capodimonte Soup Tureen and Underplate - Italian Cream Ornate Earthenware Soupière - Rose Finial Lidded Soup Dish w/ Scrollwork A beautifully ornate double handled soup tureen, produced in Italy. The tureen is supported by four raised feet patterned with an elegant scrollwork design with front and rear facing cabochon rounds and a pierced detail underneath the rim. The pierced work is mirrored in the raised handles of the tureen's underplate. The lid finial takes the form of delicate and intricately worked roses in a vibrant array of colours. The piece would make a fabulous addition to a seasonal table display. The piece is in great condition save for two chips to one of the feet as detailed in the final image.
