Vintage 1980s Royal Worcester Holly Ribbon Shallow Bowl. The dish measures: 24cm diameter, 2cm depth, 8.5cm base (9.5 inches x 1 inch, 3.5 inches) Crafted from fine bone china, Royal Worcester’s Holly Ribbons is an elegant celebration of the holiday season. Based on a Victorian design, a thin red ribbon is intertwined with sprigs of holly and sprays of mistletoe on a white background trimmed with a fine band of 22-carat gold. This shallow bowl would have been part of a larger service, but would make a great smaller serving dish. As always, we have picked this dish as it will work equally well in a retro or modern home.
