A striking decorative plate / platter from Mexico featuring a stylized blue floral design. It is made of stoneware and glazed a mid-grey colour with brown specks in that enhance the feel and depth of the piece. It provides an amazing backdrop to the bold blue and brown floral decoration that seam to spill out from the centre of the plate in a cone (or grows up to the centre depending on your point of view!) It would make a lovely serving plate for an al fresco meal in the garden. This is a vintage item and so may show signs of its previous life. The plate is in excellent condition and there are no obvious flaws. Please see photos for details. It is approximately 26.6cm in diameter.
