A large and very handsome textured art glass vase in a dark olive green colour - from the distinctive style I believe by Geoffrey Baxter for Whitefriars, from the late 60’s or early 70’s and a Hoop or Hooped vase in the Willow colourway. The base has a polished pontil, and there are two ‘seams’ down the sides from the moulding process. (Any corrections appreciated if I’ve got this wrong!) CONDITION - no chips or cracks, just a little dust and slight wear to the underside of the base (no more than you might expect) MEASUREMENTS- around 30cm tall, 8cm across at the rim and 12.5cm across the ‘hooped’ section.
